ENGINEER’S REPORT: Clerk Raisanen reported that the township’s fund balance in the blacktop fund at the end of 2015 was approximately $224,000.00. The 2015 levy, payable in 2016, is $50,000 and we should expect another $30,000 from the orderly annexation agreement payment, which totals approximately $300,000 and would be available for projects in 2016. Engineer Kuhn has provided a list of recommended projects: Newanna Beach Road- $140,000, Pinewood and Lakecrest Drive overlay- $92,000, S. Geneva, E. Lake Geneva Rd, and Geneva Golf Club Drive- $140,000, Apache Ln. and Colorado Circle- $55,000. All of the roads for proposed overlays are approximately the same age of blacktop. The board directed Engineer Kuhn to prepare bidding documents for the paving of Neewana Beach Rd. along with the overlay of Apache Lane and Colorado Circle and, in addition, to include the shouldering of Liberty Road and the overlay of Pinewood and Lakecrest Rd. as a bid deduct alternate.

OLD BUSINESS: Clerk Raisanen provided copies of Douglas County’s sanitation ordinance which details the requirements of solid waste containers. In the future, if solid waste containers are not being emptied and removed, the township will contact the county for enforcement action.

Being no further business, Eldevik, seconded by Dahlheimer, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m.

Respectfully submitted….
