Minutes of the meeting of March 04, 2013
A board of audit meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Alexandria Township was held on the 4th day of March, 2013 at the Alexandria Township Conference Room, 610 Fillmore Street.
ROLL CALL: Supervisors present were Joel Dahlheimer, Russell Niskanen, Jul Feuling, and Bryon Alstead. Also present were Gregg Raisanen, Clerk, and Mona Billmark, Treasurer. As said members formed a quorum and the meeting was called to order by Chairman Alstead at 7:05 p.m.
Clerk Raisanen presented copies of Schedule 1, statement of receipts, disbursements and balances, and copies of the audited financial statements from the auditors. He reported that the total cash balance of $834,766.36 on schedule 1 balances with the bank accounts. This amount was approximately $100,000 more than the previous year.
The board reviewed the audited financial statements. Fund balance at the end of the year was $811,301 compared to $677,780 the previous year, an increase of $133,500. Total revenue in 2012 was $934,891 compared to expenditures of $801,370, a difference of $133,000.
Dahlheimer, seconded by Feuling, made a motion to approve the financial report for 2012. Motion carried unanimously.
Being no further business, Feuling, seconded by Dahlheimer, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
