NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Alexandria Township Board of Supervisors will convene on November 21, 2016 at 6:15 p.m. at the Township Conference Room (located at 324 Broadway, lower level) to conduct the following public hearing:
Adoption of a new ordinance regulating public nuisances within the Township of Alexandria, Douglas County, Minnesota and repealing Ordinance 94-17 (Ordinance regulating noise) and Ordinance 94-18 (Ordinance regulating public indecency). The intent of the ordinance is to regulate public nuisances affecting health, morals and decency, peace and safety, noise, parking and storage, and junk/salvage/scrap yards and establish enforcement, abatement and cost recovery procedures for violations of said ordinance.
All interested persons are invited to attend this hearing and be heard or send written comments to the Township office at PO Box 445, Alexandria, MN 56308. Copies of each application, the Township’s staff report, maps, drawings and other pertinent information are available at the Township office and are posted on-line approximately one week prior to the meeting date at http://www.hometownplanning.com/alexandria-township.html.
