The following will be the subject of a public hearing on August 31, 2021, beginning at 5:00 P.M. NOTE: This public hearing is to gather information and comments and allow the Planning Commission to make its recommendation on whether to approve or deny the application. It will be your only opportunity to voice your concerns. When the Township Board of Supervisors takes up the Planning Commission recommendation at its meeting, it will be open to the public but not a public hearing where additional comments are taken. If you cannot attend the August 31st public hearing, you may submit your comments in writing – as noted below.
Hearing: Zoning Map Amendment Request to rezone two adjoining parcels, approximately 20 acres and 40 acres, from Urban Residential (UR) to Industrial (I), Commercial-Rural (C-R) or Commercial-Urban (C-U).
Applicant: Massman Companies, Inc.
Owners: Gerald and Kathryn Patrick
Property Description: The two parcels are located at 2902 Hazel Hill Road SE and the adjoining parcel to the east. Partial legal descriptions: Section 33, Township 128, Range 37, NE4NE4. AC 40 and E2 NW4NE4. AC 20. Parcel ID: 03-2086-000 and 03-2087-000.
Purpose: To relocate and expand part of their manufacturing operations to a new facility to be located off Hazel Hill Road SE.
