Minutes of the meeting of January 22, 2025
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Alexandria Township was held on the 22nd day of January, 2025 at the Alexandria Township Conference Room, 324 Broadway and via teleconference.
ROLL CALL: Supervisors present were Joel Dahlheimer, Dennis Butz and Rod Eldevik. Also present were Mark Meuwissen, Clerk, and Mona Billmark, Treasurer. As said members formed a quorum, the meeting was called to order by Chairman Eldevik at 6:00 p.m.
Butz, seconded by Dahlheimer, made a motion to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously.
Jerry Wright joined the meeting.
Butz, seconded by Dahlheimer, made a motion to approve the minutes of the 1/6/25 regular board meeting as written. Motion carried unanimously.
Dahlheimer, seconded by Butz, made a motion to authorize payment of claims 25017 – 25023 in the amount of $4,562.61, EFTPS $1,606.18, net payroll $1,907.02 totaling $8,075.81. Motion carried unanimously. No transfer of funds necessary to cover the payments.

OLD BUSINESS: none.
NEW BUSINESS:
Treasurer Billmark reminded the board she intends to retire sometime after April of 2025. Billmark discussed her intention to appoint Bryon Alstead as Deputy Treasurer and introduced him to the Board. At the Board’s request, Alstead gave a history of his previous positions within the Township and his extensive accounting and work experience. The Township Supervisors are familiar with Alstead and welcomed him back in this new role. Billmark suggested splitting her current monthly pay in a 70% to 30% split with Alstead until she officially resigns. The Board agreed to have Treasurer Billmark proceed with her transition plan including the split of the Treasurer’s monthly pay.
And being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:16 p.m..
