The following will be the subject of a public hearing on September 28, 2009, beginning at 6:00 P.M. (see enclosed site map for location information)

Hearing: Conditional Use Permit

Applicants: Louis and Velvet Ross

Property Description: 3020 Lake Victoria SE, Alexandria, MN. Legal description as follows: Sec 28, Twp 128, Range 37, Lake Victoria Park 3rd Addn, Lot 4 & Pt of vacated roadways and Lot 5, Blk 1, 9.74 Ac.

Purpose: To allow for limited livestock raising of up to 10 animal units

Hearing: Conditional Use Permit

Applicants: Nicholas Heydt and Dennis Weigel

Property Description: 3810 and 3900 E. Lake Burgen Rd. Legal description as follows: Sec 33, Twp 128, Range 37, Lots 4 & 5, Blk 1 ex: N’ly .62 ac of Lot 5, Burgen Shores (Ac 1.18) AND Lot 6 & N’ly .62 ac of Lot 5, Blk 1, Burgen Shores (Ac 1.50)

Purpose: To allow for the placement of approximately 130 feet of culvert, 3,000 cubic yards of fill and 100 cubic yards of riprap to restore an eroded ravine and prevent future erosion

Hearing: Conditional Use Permit

Applicant: James Florin

Owner: Travis Marti

Property Description: 3150 Queens Rd. Legal description as follows: Sec 28, Twp 128, Range 37, Outlot B, Golden Gate (Ac 4.91)

Purpose: To allow a home occupation business in an urban residential district

Copies of each application, the Township’s staff report, maps, drawings and other pertinent information are available at the Township office and are posted on-line approximately one week prior to the meeting date at www.communitygrowth.com/alexandria_township.

The Alexandria Township Planning Commission will be holding a public meeting to view this and other properties that are on the agenda and to gather information for the public hearing. They will be meeting at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2009.
