A regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Alexandria Township was held on the 24th day of July, 2006 at the Alexandria Township Conference Room, 610 Fillmore Street.
ROLL CALL: Commission members present were John Knowles, Julie Feuling, Russ Niskanen, Larry Steidl and Lyle Hammerschmidt. Also present was Bonnie Fulghum, Deputy Clerk. As said members formed a quorum and the meeting was called to order by Chairman Knowles at 7:00 p.m.
Niskanen, seconded by Feuling, made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Steidl, seconded by Niskanen, made a motion to approve the minutes of the 06/26/06 meeting as written. Motion carried unanimously.
Zoning Administrator Oleson provided the commission members with a summary of differences between Douglas County’s and the proposed Alexandria Township’s zoning and subdivision ordinances. Discussion ensued regarding double permitting issues, the 60-day rule, inspections and enforcement.
Oleson requested that the commission members be ready to present any additional comments at a special public meeting of the planning commission on August 14, 2006.
Being no further business, Feuling, seconded by Hammerschmidt, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 8:46 p.m.
