A special public meeting of the Planning Commission of Alexandria Township was held on the 10th day of October, 2005.
ROLL CALL: Commission members present were John Knowles, Julie Feuling, Larry Steidl and Bryon Alstead. Also present was Bonnie Fulghum, Deputy Clerk. As said members formed a quorum and the meeting was called to order by Chairman Knowles at 7:00 p.m.
Steidl, seconded by Alstead, made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Alstead, seconded by Steidl, made a motion to approve the minutes of the 09/26/05 meeting as written. Motion carried unanimously.
Ben Oleson, Zoning Administrator, encouraged residents and commission members to comment on the revised draft of the township vision statement and the key issues/trends/policy statements for the areas of agriculture and housing development.
Commission member Niskanen joined the meeting.
Further discussion ensued in the areas of commercial/industrial development and infrastructure and public services. New areas of discussion were introduced for parks/recreation and governance.
Being no further business, Feuling, seconded by Niskanen, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 9:05 p.m.
