A regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Alexandria Township was held on the 26th day of September, 2005.
ROLL CALL: Commission members present were John Knowles, Julie Feuling, Russ Niskanen, Larry Steidl and Bryon Alstead. Also present was Bonnie Fulghum, Deputy Clerk. As said members formed a quorum and the meeting was called to order by Chairman Knowles at 7:00 p.m.
Alstead, seconded by Niskanen, made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Niskanen, seconded by Feuling, made a motion to approve the minutes of the 09/12/05 meeting as written. Motion carried unanimously.
The purpose of the meeting was to continue drafting the comprehensive land use plan. Ben Oleson, Zoning Administrator, conducted a review of the township vision statement as well as the goals and policy statements for the areas of agriculture, housing development and commercial/industrial development. Oleson presented a new topic for discussion, that of infrastructure and public services.
Being no further business, Steidl, seconded by Alstead, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
