CITIZEN’S CONCERNS: None

PLANNING AND ZONING: None

ENGINEER’S REPORT: Engineer Kuhn was requested to prepare a list of blacktop overlays for next year. He reported there is a product that can be applied to recent overlays that will extend the life of the road surface. He will research and report back to the board.

A list of roads needing speed limit signs has been compiled and the signs have been ordered. The road maintenance contractor will install in the near future.

OLD BUSINESS: The board discussed the property off E. Burgen Road where the ditch was filled in. The township sent a letter requesting the landowner remove the fill and to date no action has been taken. The board was in consensus to have Attorney Paul Johnson send the landowner a letter.

NEW BUSINESS: The board discussed a property along W. Lake Jessie Drive where a lot has been subdivided into two lots and an additional structure is being built on the vacant lot. At the time of sewer installation, only one stub was provided to the lot because the second lot was deemed unbuildable. Due to recent state law changes, the lot is now deemed buildable and therefore will require digging into the street to provide connection to sanitary sewer.

The board recognized the service of prior supervisor and chairman Roger Thalman for his years of service to Alexandria Township.

Being no further business, Feuling, seconded by Hammerschmidt, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.

Respectfully submitted….
