Minutes of the meeting of January 18, 2023
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Alexandria Township was held on the 18th day of January, 2023 at the Alexandria Township Conference Room, 324 Broadway and via teleconference.
ROLL CALL: Supervisors present were Jeff Oberg, Dennis Butz and Rod Eldevik. Also present were Gregg Raisanen, Clerk, with Mona Billmark, Treasurer, attending remotely. As said members formed a quorum and the meeting was called to order by Chairman Eldevik at 6:00 p.m.
Oberg, seconded by Butz, made a motion to adopt the agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Butz, seconded by Oberg, made a motion to approve the minutes of the 1/04/23 regular board meeting and the minutes from the 1/09/23 special meeting as written. Motion carried unanimously.
Oberg, seconded by Butz, made a motion to authorize payment of claims 23009 – 23020 in the amount of $8,775.89, EFTPS $1,425.02, Net Payroll $591.04, totaling $10,791.95 and a transfer of $9,000.00 from the savings account into the checking account. Motion carried unanimously.
CITIZEN’S CONCERNS: none
PLANNING AND ZONING: A final plat application was submitted for Twigs North Side. All requirements and conditions have been met and the County Surveyor has signed off on the plat. Oberg, seconded by Butz, made a motion to approve the final plat for Twigs North Side. Motion carried unanimously.
ENGINEER’S REPORT: none
OLD BUSINESS: none
NEW BUSINESS: The board reviewed the funding request submitted by the Alexandria Public Schools Community Education Director. Clerk Raisanen will respond acknowledging receipt of the request.
Being no further business, Oberg seconded by Butz, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 6:12 p.m.
