Minutes of the meeting of May 19, 2014
A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Alexandria Township was held on the 19th day of May, 2014 at the Alexandria Township Conference Room, 610 Fillmore Street.
ROLL CALL: Supervisors present were Bryon Alstead, Jul Feuling, Lyle Hammerschmidt, Joel Dahlheimer and Russell Niskanen. Also present were Bonnie Fulghum, Deputy Clerk, and Mona Billmark, Treasurer. As said members formed a quorum and the meeting was called to order by Chairman Alstead at 6:00 p.m.
Feuling, seconded by Hammerschmidt, made a motion to adopt the agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Hammerschmidt, seconded by Niskanen, made a motion to approve the minutes of the 05/05/2014 regular board meeting with the following correction under New Business, last paragraph, to read in part, as follows: “It was reported to the board that a violation of the golf cart ordinance….”. Motion carried unanimously.
Feuling, seconded by Niskanen, made a motion to authorize payment of claims 14103 – 14115 in the amount of $11,759.19, net payroll of $877.68, EFTPS of $1,147.49 totaling $13,784.36 and a transfer of funds from savings in the amount of $7,000.00. Motion carried unanimously.
CITIZEN’S CONCERNS: none
PLANNING AND ZONING: none
ENGINEER’S REPORT: Engineer Kuhn reported that gravel is scheduled to be applied next week.
OLD BUSINESS: Consensus to table discussion on the annexation agreement until the next meeting.
NEW BUSINESS: Deputy Clerk Fulghum distributed materials on ATV regulations. Consensus to table discussion since information from the MAT attorney was not yet available.
Deputy Clerk Fulghum to obtain training dates for the Board of Equalization.
Being no further business, Feuling, seconded by Hammerschmidt, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 6:19 p.m.
