NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Alexandria Township Planning Commission will convene on May 27, 2015, at 6:00 PM at the Township Conference Room (located at 610 Fillmore Street behind Trumm Drug) to conduct the following public hearings:
Conditional Use Request to allow for the operation of a contractor’s yard with outdoor storage in the Urban Residential zoning district on a property with a previous conditional use permit for business use. Property would not be used for retail sales but may include signage identifying the business. David Klein, a/k/a Creative Landscapes, applicant. Property owner: Karen Oberg. Property is located at 2704 Geneva Road NE. Property ID: 03-0039-000.
Preliminary Plat of Patty’s Paradise which would allow for the re-platting of Lot 12, Block One, Rearrangement of Island Addition to Crestwood Hills into one 41,541 sq ft residential lot encompassing the existing dwelling and one 12,688 sq ft outlot that would allow for the construction of one small storage shed (approx.. 8’ x 14’), but not a dwelling. Patty and Randall Boushek, applicants. Property is located at 3307 Island Drive NE. Property ID: 03-0141-000.
All interested persons are invited to attend these hearings and be heard or send written comments to the Township office at PO Box 445, Alexandria, MN 56308. Copies of each application, the Township’s staff report, maps, drawings and other pertinent information are available at the Township office and are posted on-line approximately one week prior to the meeting date at www.communitygrowth.com/alexandria_township.
The Alexandria Township Planning Commission will be holding a public meeting to view this and other properties that are on the agenda and to gather information for the public hearing. They will be meeting at the first property listed below at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, and then proceeding to the next propert(ies).
