April 29, 2021 Public Hearing Notice – Planning Commission

Notice is hereby given that the Alexandria Township Planning Commission will convene on April 29, 2021, at 5:00 PM at the Township Conference Room (located at 324 Broadway, lower level) to conduct the following public hearings:

Requests related to the creation of “Eastwood Estates” – a 22-lot commercial/residential development. Approvals required include a Zoning Map amendment to change from Rural Conservation Residential (RCR) to a mix of Urban Residential (UR), Rural Residential (RR) and/or Commercial-Rural (C-R), a Conditional Use for the creation of a planned unit development, a Preliminary Plat for a 22-lot subdivision and a Variance to allow for a cul-de-sac road with a length greater than 1,200 feet.  Tischer Homes, Inc., applicant.  Property is located at 7617 Co Rd 82 SE, Section 24, Township 128, Range 37, NW1/4 SW1/4 and SW1/4 NE1/4 and the SE1/4 NW1/4 lying North of County Road No. 82, Parcel Nos. 03-1841-000 and 03-1848-000.

All interested persons are invited to attend these hearings and be heard or send written comments to the Township office at PO Box 445, Alexandria, MN 56308.  Copies of each application, the Township’s staff report, maps, drawings and other pertinent information are available at the Township office and are posted on-line approximately one week prior to the meeting date at http://www.hometownplanning.com/alexandria-township.html.

The Alexandria Township Planning Commission will be holding a public meeting to view this and other properties that are on the agenda and to gather information for the public hearing. They will be meeting onsite at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
