NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Alexandria Township Planning Commission will convene on August 26, 2024, at 5:00 PM at the Township Conference Room (located at 324 Broadway, lower level) to conduct the following public hearings:
Preliminary Plat and Conditional Use Request for Geneva Haven Estates. Request is to create a residential planned unit development (PUD) consisting of five twinhomes on seven adjoining lots in an Urban Residential zoning district. Lucas Mogenson, applicant. Thompson-Riley LLC, owner. Property is located off Liberty Road along Old Glory Drive NE. Partial legal description(s): Section 14, Township 128, Range 37, Lots 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, Block 2, GENEVA ESTATES EAST. Parcel No(s). 03-1298-690, 03-1298-700, 03-1298-710, 03-1298-720, 03-1298-730, 03-1298-740, and 03-1298-750.
All interested persons are invited to attend these hearings and be heard or send written comments to the Township office at PO Box 445, Alexandria, MN 56308. Copies of each application, the Township’s staff report, maps, drawings and other pertinent information are available at the Township office and are posted on-line approximately one week prior to the meeting date at http://www.hometownplanning.com/alexandria-township.html.
The Alexandria Township Planning Commission will be holding a public meeting to view this and other properties that are on the agenda and to gather information for the public hearing. They will be meeting onsite at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
