Notice is hereby given that the Alexandria Township Planning Commission will convene on February 26, 2024, at 5:00 PM at the Township Conference Room (located at 324 Broadway, lower level) to conduct the following public hearings:
Preliminary Plat of Maple Addition. Request is to divide a 3.99 acre of land into two 1.69 acre lots in a Residential Shoreland zoning district. Kevin and Sarah Suchy, applicant /owners. Property is located at 1703 Maple Drive SE. Partial legal description: Section 28, Township 128, Range 37, N 359.5′ OF W 483′ OF NW4NE4. AC 3.99. Parcel No. 03-1927-000.
Preliminary Plat and Conditional Use Request for Geneva Meadow Townhomes. Request is to create a residential planned unit development (PUD) consisting of three twinhomes and one single unit (7 total single-family dwellings) on five adjoining lots in an Urban Residential zoning district. Brock Leagjeld, applicant. Thompson-Riley LLC, owner. The property is located off Liberty Road, along Colonial Court and Old Glory Drive NE. Copies of each application, the Township’s staff report, maps, drawings and other pertinent information are available at the Township office and are posted on-line approximately one week prior to the meeting date at http://www.hometownplanning.com/alexandria-township.html.
The Alexandria Township Planning Commission will be holding a public meeting to view this and other properties that are on the agenda and to gather information for the public hearing. They will be meeting onsite on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, as follows:
