NOTICE
The Alexandria Township Board of Supervisors will be holding a public informational meeting on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at the Alexandria Technical and Community College, Room 209. Alexandria Township has been in communication with Douglas County concerning the potential transfer of Liberty Road to Douglas County. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the process and proposal. Douglas County has requested an extension of road right of way from the existing 33 ft. to 50 ft. along Liberty Road. In addition, the county has also proposed extending the existing Liberty Road north to County Road 20, which would require a 100-foot easement acquisition from property owners in that location.
