A regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Alexandria Township was held on the 22nd day of January, 2007 at the Alexandria Township Conference Room, 610 Fillmore Street.
ROLL CALL: Commission members present were John Knowles, Julie Feuling, Russ Niskanen, Larry Steidl and Lyle Hammerschmidt. Also present was Bonnie Fulghum, Deputy Clerk and Ben Oleson, Zoning Administrator. As said members formed a quorum and the meeting was called to order by Chairman Knowles at 7:00 p.m.
Steidl, seconded by Niskanen, made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously.
Niskanen, seconded by Hammerschmidt, made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 27, 2006 meeting as written. Motion carried unanimously.
Chairman Knowles asked for a consensus to change the planning commission’s meeting timeframe from 7:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. commencing with the next meeting and thereafter. Consensus reached.
The meeting was turned over to Zoning Administrator Oleson to proceed with the joint training session of the Planning Commission and the Town Board. The training session was comprised of discussion regarding policies and procedures in the township’s zoning ordinance.
Being no further business, Feuling, seconded by Hammerschmidt, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 9:54 p.m.
