A regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Alexandria Township was held on the 23rd day of May, 2011 at the Alexandria Township Conference Room, 610 Fillmore Street.
Roll Call: Commission members present were Russ Niskanen, Larry Steidl and Lyle Hammerschmidt. Also present was Bonnie Fulghum, Deputy Clerk. As said members formed a quorum and the meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Niskanen at 6:00 p.m.
Agenda: Steidl, seconded by Hammerschmidt, made a motion to approve the agenda as written. Motion carried unanimously.
Minutes: Hammerschmidt, seconded by Steidl, made a motion to approve the minutes of the 04/25/2011 meeting as written. Motion carried unanimously.
New Business: Site Visit Summer Schedule. The consensus of the commission was to make no change to the site visit schedule.
Training Video Session. The commission viewed the training video “Developing Effective Small Town Comprehensive Plans”. The video focused on establishing a vision, future land use map,focus on action, financial education, transition area plan and capital improvements plan.

Adjournment: Being no further business Hammerschmidt, seconded by Steidl, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
